Bulk Foods-Here We Come!

My first introduction to an actual "Bulk Foods" Store, along with 5 of my other girl friends and their children! What an experience and one that will not be easily forgotten, not just  by us but by the dear Amish family who owns the store! :)
All lined up in our vehicles to follow our friend Tara who was giving us the tour!

Her precious daughter Elizabeth, who along with the other dear kiddos was feeding Riley and Sophie smarties the entire duration of the shopping trip.

Learning from Tara what is best to buy here

A display of the many shelves of bulk items-where to start!

Evan, Dylan, Tory and Elizabeth!

Feeding the girls snacks the whole time

Kim and her adorable kiddos

Mandy and her dear little daughter Abby

Thomas and Snoopie-he was entertaining the girls with it! He would always say, "hey twins"

Lollipops do such wonders!

And yet again!

And a picture to end this posting! Enjoy your day!

  2. Oh Linds! What fun friends you have! Also nice to have someone familiar with "bulk" food stores to instruct you properly since you missed that with your mother :-)
An adorable group of kids, too! Especially those twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. i am so impressed. Mom's that look like a million bucks, children dressed(adorably, I might add), moms who remembered to bring the proper bribing tools (good old lollipops. they are my friends) AND resourceful shopping at Betty Bulk's. Looks like a lot of fun (and perhaps a little noise involved??). I'll look forward to hearing about it on Friday!! Love you,
    J.

  4. This used to be one of my weekly stops for years. I learned about it from the chef at the restaurant that I visited often. It is clean, neat and has lots of money saving bargains. You all look like you were having a great time. I am sure the Amish family that owns it was thrilled to have you there. Cutest little ones!

  5. I want to go next time. Looks like fun. Apparently you have to have more than one child to attend shopping trips like these. Booo to working out of the home full-time. Ahh. LOVE the last picture of Sophie. looks like a precious baby doll. Love them both so very much. Again....no pics of you. whats the deal?
